Raymond Terrace Confirmed to Host the 2026 Koori Knockout

After an incredible showing at the 2025 carnival in Tamworth, the Newcastle Yowies have officially announced that King Park Sporting Complex in Raymond Terrace, situated on Worimi Country, will host the 2026 Koori Knockout.
A Massive Boom for Worimi Country
Taking place over the October long weekend from October 2 to October 5, the modern-day corroboree is expected to bring tens of thousands of players and spectators to the Port Stephens region. Newcastle Yowies president Warren Schillings highlighted that between 190 and 200 teams are expected to take part in the iconic rugby league tournament.

Local officials are already preparing for the massive influx of visitors. Port Stephens Mayor Leah Anderson noted that the Knockout offers a unique opportunity to build community confidence, showcase regional hospitality, and celebrate the resilience and leadership of Aboriginal communities.
